    Well lads haven’t called to this one yet but there was an electrician looking at it already…

    Socket is earthed,machine is earted and sink is earted but when machine is running there is 112volts between them…nothing when its off..its a semi integrated not sure what model yet..

    Any ideas what might be causing this!!any help much appreciated…

    I think you have a faulty electrician as well as dishwasher. :rolls:

    I know he just used a socket tester…i asked him why he didnt do an earth fault loop impedence test on socket!!he hasnt got a tester…

    Is there any chance its not the house wiring??

    Its got to be an earth fault somewhere even if there is a fault on the machine.

    +1 for an earth fault (faulty earth)….if the sink and appliance are correctly earthed (not just connected to an earth wire that doesn’t go anywhere) then they will both be at 0 volts 😉
