ModeratorHi Guy’s,
Should we be looking to make the shop@ and repairs@ module’s more high profile on the front page by means of either using a different coulor from the rest of the page or by a flashing symbol, could it also be possible for these modules to be on display in their respective forums too.
We need to spend a little at our earliest oppurtunity on a decent module for the shop to compete with the likes of e-spares. I know that I am a paranoid old twat but I would feel a lot happier if we were more self reliant financially.
I know that we are providing a service to the rest of the trade but the only way to really safegaurd the continuity of the service is to be as finacially diverse as possible.

Probably is the answer Sean…..
However the plan at this time is definately geared to producing 3 trainers for the 1st august, quiccly followed by training, Nursery Street, office furniture and it systems, cars, phones. laptops, it stuff, forms and programmes and then planning and starting to contact all those business out there to deliver the training.
On top of that we have Dave and Devon premises which may or may not happen,,,so we wait for Daves circumstances to unfold. No probs, keeping up so far, good. Then we got to do the autowasher and all that goes with that..
I guess the shop logo might have to wait a while 😆

I was up till past midnight last night installing a test shop on my own website but never finished the install due to knackerdness and this morning I can’t find the password for the database 😉
I’ll have another crack later when I get home.

Both Dave and I are all too aware of the problems with the shop and also, ot an extent, with Repairs@ as well. we have been batting back and forward on it for a couple of weeks now.
Essentially the shop as it stands is a fucking nightmare to navigate coupled to which, workng with products is also a bloody nightmare, slow and laborious work. So it need sorting before we start screaming about it too much. We need that in play and working well fairly soon, but it’s not critical right now or even urgent.
As Kev says, there’s a shedload more to be going on with right now. 😉

Ignore all the products and stuff it’s just the basic install.

KeymasterLooks very good and also can be customised quite heavily by browsing some example sites.
Ask Trev what he thinks to it.
