If I was to give this person help it would be via PM and not in open forum, should I help or just let him stew. 😉

He did ask nicely after all Jim, yes PM the info he needs and no doubt he will thank you within the forum shortly afterwards.

Re: Should I help out here

Another dilemma, or perhaps I am just being curmudgeonly. I could send ‘wash-freeze’ a wiring diagram but then I look at his contribution since his registration in 2004 and notice that he has only made nine or ten posts, all but one asking for help, virtually no other contribution to the forums. I looked at his website and to be honest, if I was as big a poser as that, I would make sure I had the requisite manuals before I promoted myself in that way.

I just feel he is using ukwg’s as a free tech service, whilst putting absolutely nothing back. 😥

I would leave it, he’s answered his own question really.

I don’t mind helping anyone out with diagnostics etc on elecrotonic machines that are a PITA to diagnose but a basic dryer….. I think he was after reassurance given the stupid price of the timer 😉

Self built website evidently as well 😆

Did you ever see that edition of ‘It’ll be all Right on the Night’, the Japanese gentleman who could not say “electronics” 😆 😆
