Thursday 22nd September 2005

This is an evening and informal meeting.

6:00pm – A presentation from the technical trainers of soap powder technologies and the wash process with tea/coffee/biscuits provided.

7:30pm – Meet the UK Whitegoods staff and members in the informal setting of the Millers bar where you can sample the hotel’s excellent menu and bar.

Friday 23rd September 2005

9:30am – Chairman’s address and UK Whitegoods news and overview

9:45am – Presentation from the Advisory Council on their role within UK Whitegoods and the function of the AC.

10:15am – Presentation by George Downes (UK Whitegoods) on behalf of Proctor & Gamble detailing the reasons behind UK Whitegoods’ involvement with Ariel and the relevance of this information to the engineer and consumers.

11:00am – Tea/Coffee break

11:15am – UK Whitegoods technical trainers short introduction and presentation on their roles within UK Whitegoods and the aid that they can offer to independent businesses.

11:45am – Masterpart presentation (details TBC)

12:30pm – Lunch (Please note the attached slip and confirm that you require lunch)

2:00pm – Richard Slater presents on the subject of financial services detailing the best methods and practices relevant to self-employed and small businesses.

2:30pm – UK Whitegoods special presentation by Kenneth Watt and Kevin Heath.

3:30pm – Tea/Coffee break

3:45pm – Open forum and questions from the floor

5:00pm – Close

Friday Evening

Meals and drinks are available in the Millers’ bar where UK Whitegoods staff and directors will be available all evening for conversation.

Saturday 24th September 2005

This meeting is for independent repairers only which opens at 9:30am and will close at 12:00pm promptly.

Any comments make them snappy as this will be on the site by Monday.

Will the 6p.m thursday ‘soap powder technologies’ be repeated as part of Fridays formal meeting for those that only turn up on the Friday? or maybe that’s part of Georges presentation at 10:15 anyway?

No, it’s not a repeat and the training session will only be available on the Thursday evening.
