Hi all I have a well insulated nice outbuilding that I currently have spare fridge and chest freezer in with no problems. However, I would like to revamp and put in new American style side by side. most say not suitable for outbuildings. I could easily put a small tube heater in to stabilise ambient temps a bit. Would this solve the fears of the fridge/freezer not operating correctly.

    Advice appreciated

Probably LG, whirlpool, Samsung or similar. Nothing too expensive basically it is for overspill from kitchen, summer beer, BBQ food etc.

    Thanks for help

Ok, Thanks for your help. Like it or loathe it I have just purchased a Beko because it was the only one in my budget which is SN/T rating and will operate to 5 deg C. And I did not want ice or water etc.
However, I have to pick it up it will go in my car but on its back (I have a big car!) If I let it stand for a few days will it be ok??

    Hi

As its a beko…Dont mention how you transported it if it goes wrong !!.

It should be ok if left for a couple of days.

They will know how I transported it I’m picking it up from a warehouse.
Is it a big risk? if so i will hire a van but it will fit in my people carrier.
Have I made a mistake with a Beko? It is new with a small dent in door (not bothered) but £350!!

    Hi

It is the better option to transport in an upright position.less risk of system blockages.

It is the only one SN/T rated to 5 deg c at a sensible price.
