Siemans Auto WM12E468 F21 Fault Won’t Reset – Help!!

Hi,

I have followed the reset procedure given by Martin in response to Mike412’s enquiry:

“Unplug motor, selector switch off, touch any button, rotate selector. This will awaken module” – in a nutshell.

This has not worked on this machine. Have I missed something?

Presume F21 to be a motor issue.

Could the module be damaged by original fault?

I assume you have replaced the motor brushes? it can take several attempts to clear but I have never failed to get rid of it eventually.

That’s not the correct procedure i think . Try selector switch to off. Turn selector switch to 6 o’clock , hold down spin speed button and turn selector switch one position clock wise. Release spin speed button and then return switch selector to off.

No worries. There’s lots of posts on here on resetting the bsh machines but they can get swallowed up in all the other info available.
