    Hi,

Not come across this type of Siemans D/w before with a heat exchange type impellor housing on the motor.

Complaint of not heating(E09). Measured at plug with red leads – assumed as heater leads – no circuit. (see pic)

How easy to change? Plus trying to get the module out to get at the motor I found that it seemed locked into the corner at the side and rear casing. I released it from the other points but it just pivots in that corner where it is hidden away by the base moulding.

Is it just a clip that poking around with a long screwdriver will do the job?

    Any insights appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Laurence

PS Ignore ‘Bosch’ on pic, it’s ‘Siemens’.

There’s been a few posts of late about this style.
The module will unclip with a bit of jigging. (Kettle lead out of the back, which I’m sure you’ve already done).

You can then change the motor / heater assy from the same side.

Make sure the new motor comes with a clamp.
