Siemans dishwasher – powder not being washed out

After the cycle is finished and I open the door, the powder compartment cover has slid back but the powder remains in it in a soggy lump. Wos goin’ on ?

Lizzie,

Check that the top and bottom spray arms are not blocked and free to rotate (especially ensure top spray arm doesn’t foul crocks & cutlery)

Clean filters thoroughly and if you still have a problem get back to us but please supply the full model number 😉

That’s really not its full model number but enough info anyway in this case 🙂
OK then it’s likely that you’re not getting enough water in the machine to start with. It almost certainly means that the water level control system is blocked. A job where an engineer is called for here 😉

Check our repairs@ for one in your area that can contact you to sort it with little difficulty I’m sure 😀
