IIRC it is an inlet valve problem?

could be a blocked pressure switch tube or faulty pressure switch.

Good question Ally, so let me turn that around and ask, do you know that it has? Any error code that comes up invariably means the machine doesn’t want to play and could stop at any random point. I believe F27 relates to water inlet so perhaps either valve, water block or water supply problem related likely?

cheers martin , i havent got the fault codes for these things – its just its a bit weird that it chooses to through up fault with 1 min to go .. i was think more on the drain side etc ..

just had a look for valves – seem they come complete with aquastop assy .. bit excessive if you only require valve

Cor blimey I’ll say! At about £55 trade a risky punt if that doesn’t sort it. Smurfing the web thru Google (F27 Siemens) the consensus puts the blame both on the inlet valve and the analogue pressure switch… :hmm:

F27 is shown as ‘pressure switch defective’

Ok, job was cancelled, customer is going to contact Siemens as he thinks it’s still covered by 5 year guarantee.
Would still be interested in any solution for future reference….. if the old memory clicks into gear.
