ModeratorThink I may have been given the wrong model number.
SMI 2001/GB…FD7701 200095
Semi integrated dishwasher. I need the part number for the circulation pump complete.
That number is not coming up on the BSH spares site. 😥

Cheers Paul, its the motor I want though, its seized badly. I can see a 140539, is there not a complete assy for this machine, not sure it would be wise to stick a motor to an old pump, unless you know better. 😉

OUCH… that was expensive advice. 😉
Went today to find the original motor is a relay start motor. 😳
Back to the drawing board. 😥

convert it to cap start, its easy used to do loads when this was a common machine, even a hole ready for a cap in the back of the machine.
oops, probably too late, sorry for not replying sooner!November 3, 2009 at 6:57 pm #300608iadom

Going tomorrow, have managed to source a relay start motor at a reasonable price, the only fly in the ointment with that is this new motor has small spade terminals for the relay and not pins like the original.
A while since I changed one of the Cap start ones, darned if I can remember the rating of the capacitor.

Actually went back to it this afternoon, armed with both motors just in case. 😉
Turns out the old relay would not fit on the new motor. 😥
I then resorted to plan B, I had all of my old Hotpoint (Bosch) dishwasher manuals with me but sadly none had the capacitor value in them.
Its a couple of years since I last fitted one to a Hotpoint dishwasher so I took an educated guess and believe it or not I fitted a 4uf capacitor and the HP motor.
Machine now running a treat. 8)
