Siemens Combi Light

I have looked in the manual for this (and their website), but can’t find the info.

Does anyone know how to change a light on my Siemens combi oven? It surely can’t be that difficult, but try as I might, I can’t work out where on earth the light is located! I took it for granted when it was there.

Model number is HF 87960 GB.

With the appliance un plugged, pull it out onto something suitable eg workmate; you can then remove lamp cover which is on the top at the front. 2 torx screws, lid off and voila, one bulb.
Please note that this is as far as you need to dismantle this oven as there are high voltages within that will kill even when disconnected.

Thanks very much for the prompt reply. I just had a quick look, and think I see what you mean. Is it actually on top on the outside of the unit? No wonder I couldn’t see it.

Also, thanks for the warning about microwaves. I was aware of the dangers that lurked within for the uneducated, but thanks anyway. I figured a lamp ought to be replaceable by the consumer, but they don’t exactly make it easy, do they?!
