Siemens Combi M/wave HB86K581B cuts out after 3 seconds

Hi
A customer has got a Siemens HB86K581B combination oven / grill / microwave oven.

The grill and oven functions work absolutely fine – but whenever a microwave function is selected, either on its own or a combination of grill or oven and microwave the countdown timer starts and then 3 seconds into the cooking the timer resets itself.

I’ve tried disconnecting the microwave power board, thus having no load on the microwave circuit but it still cuts out after 3 seconds.

Any ideas anyone? 😕

Panasonic derivative, no power from pcb to inverter i suspect

Normally it’s an inverter failure but also check safety fuse and door switches operation.

usually and invertor and mag to be safe.
