Something (drain pump?) is running continuously. Dishwasher got about halfway through cycle, then “remaining time” display stuck at 50 mins. My wife switched it off. No water inside when I opened it. Internal filters were clear.

I tried turning on, pump started immediately. Tried turning off, turning on, then resetting – made no difference.

The “en instructions for use” book has number 9000 236 264 (8701-1)
Sorry, no model number remains visible on either label inside the front, both have faded away.

most dishwashers have anti flood systems, if any water gets underneath where the motors are there is a float that starts the pump and it wont stop till the water is removed

… Please tell the model number if you can trace from the instructions number. I need to research even on how to get into the machine!

Hey Mark, I have the same problem and dishwasher. Did you find a solution?

Sorry Dan, I was unaware of your post until today, one year afterwards, when I once again checked into the forum as the fault has returned.

I can’t remember having done anything to the machine to clear the fault on the previous occasion. From memory, it had cleared itself by the next time I came to try fixing it – presumably once the water had dried out.

I’m hopeful that leaving it for a while will be sufficient to fix it again, although clearly the source of the problem remains.
