it drains then fills for a second then stops with a humming noise from the solenoid and after a while shows E17.

i am getting correct reading through the valve and it isd getting water but will not fill,
any ideas welcome.

E17 is water level too high check flow-sensor.

the customer is back on the phone again he has been fighting with johnlewis but got nowhere.
I was on the siemens website but cant see a flow sensor anywhere.
anyone know the part no. thanks.

resurecting an old thread got exactly the same problem with the same model of dishwasher changed the flow meter and its still the same any ideas welcomed.
