ParticipantAnyone out there know how the decor door comes off this Siemens SN66D00gb/44 this enr number was very faded on the label so cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure of it the SN66 is pretty clear the its maybe a D the end is def GB/44. Have checked on the Siemens site and the best match is the one I have given.
Its not the usual type but hinges out at the bottom as the door is opened.
I have looked on the Siemens site but it shows as the usual door mounts. I’m sure I will get it off, just nice to go in a little more positive rather that looking at it whilst scratiching my head..Thanks Brian

ParticipantThe extra height Siemens dishwashers can have a sliding door mount for the decor door, but as it look likes it’s just a normal size one it won’t, and so it’s not the dishwasher, but the decor door fitted by the kitchen company. Some kitchen companies use a decor door that has a small section that hinges at the bottom to allow clearance of the appliance cabinet. Often I have seen this sort of thing on AEG, but it may be just because the kitchen is German. If I can, I try and mount the door in the normal manner, and ignore the hinging aspect.

ParticipantThanks guys, yes its not the normal one as shown in their diagram, thanks Don.
Guess it must be one fitted by the kitchen fitters. the bottom does slide up and down (not well fitted I may add as screws loose).
I have seen similar but not on a Siemens
Thanks for taking the time to helpBrian

If the decor door has a hinged section, that’s the kitchen but can be overcome. If the decor door is just one piece and slides up and down the appliance then that is an extra height model that whilst relatively easy to do is a little more interesting to do over the normal height versions.
