Replaced the heat exchange valve on this appliance a week ago and it worked perfectly.
The customer has since said the fault has re appeared.

I have checked the wiring and even fitted a new valve but still the code comes up instantly the moment the appliance is switched on.

I’m thinking it could be the circuit board? has anyone else had a circuit board fault related to E19?
    thanks

Yes the new valve is fine and as I said in the post I even tried another one to be 100 per cent sure

well the last thing i would try is to read the coils from the pcb connector

if ok then i agree it does sound like a board as i cant think of anything else it can be

you could try one long shot

plug in one of your spare coils. dont put it in situe just plug in. turn on and see what happens.
does coil energise or does it go straight to fault

what i am wondering is how it senses coil. think it would only be able to sense it if its turned off. so what if the traic controlling the coil was leaky or shorted

hope you see where i am going
