Well firstly try to reset the programme by pressing both the 1st and 3rd programme buttons together whilst the machine is switched on. Then shut the door and it should drain for 60secs then switch off.
One question: If you turn on the on/off switch with the door open does the drain pump still run?

Tried to reset but it did not stop after 120secs. Machine starts after very short pause when switched on with door open or not. no difference closing and opening door during this trial. First and third buttons are lite when switched on and go out when pressed together for the reset

The moulded base of the appliance is flooded. The water needs draining from it before it will function normally. Then you will need to find out what caused the leak inside?

No water in moulded base only inside, in sump area and a very small amount.

If the pump works with the door open then the base anti-flood switch has been activated.

Disconnected both micro switches and checked switching function. both OK. Tried resetting with both detached but no joy. Assume default to pump when disconnected. Still pumping out door open or not. Any other resetting tips for the anti flood switch. Seems to function ok. Clock not showing full 199 when disconnected.

Time to take a close look for damaged surface components on the PCB now. 🙁

I assume the PCB is behind the door and part of the programme, clock, buttons etc
