I know there are some similar threads about these already here but this one is a bit different. Siemens SN26M690GB02 will fill for a short burst of about a second and then stop with the valve on the airbreak buzzing away (aquastop valve not energised though) but no more water entering. If left like this, the wash pump will start running but there will obviously be no water in the sump. No error code and even the water tap light is not showing. Reset will bring the drain pump on as expected. CHanged the reed switch on the air break with no difference. Interestingly, if run without the reed in place it will fill as normal but the water tap light will show and the programme aborts. Seems to think it is already full of water, if filled by jugs of water will wash and drain fine.
    thanks

That would indicate the module is not getting the pulse signal from the impeller jug. So it’s either a connection problem between the two or the control module itself at fault I would think.

but if the reed is in place it will only fill for the second or so…. meaning connection is ok but signals are being misinterpreted. Am thinking about the PCB but know these machines have a lot of red herrings about them.

As the Bosch man says on TV…..”Bosch, invented for life!” 😉
