ParticipantHi
I have this Siemens dishwasher Siemens dishwasher SF64T535EU/01 (think it’s basically the same inside as Bosch/Neff) which has following symptoms
When I start it it takes in water and fill-up the water tank. Then it makes some noises and stop after apx 8 mins (see video 08.06 where the tab sign is)
Then if I (as done in the video 08.16) pull the blue handle on the pressure chamber out and keep doing that for some secunds it will fill the dw with water and it starts. It will run until it in the cycle will have to take in fresh water (my presumption). Then I can pull the blue handle again and it will start emptying the water tank and fill the machine. Most of the times it will run until the end but stop at 2 min left (display says 2 min). I can then open and close it and it will read 0.
I have had the drain pump out. It looks in apparently good order. I have also had the pressure chamber out and cleaned it. Looks also in apparently good order.
I have bought a new drain pump as this was my first thought but can anybody direct me in the right way..
Is it the drain pump, or could it be the float switch.. a sensor connected to the float switch? or perhaps something else – anyone who has experience with this kind of fault?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best regards

Clearly you have a water pressure problem for starters. Normally that heater exchanger unit should fill within 2 mins. Have you checked and cleaned the water inlet valve filter?

I have checked the filter in the aqua stop but it was clean/ok. Can I check more?

What is the state of the water pressure anyway ( i e. how many seconds does it take to fill a 2 gallon bucket?)

I took off the aqua stop .. bucket under and opended for the water.. It took 1 min to fill 8 liter = 2,11 us gallon. Is this ok?

According to the manual minimum water pressure is 0.5 bar and it also states that “Water supply min 10 liters per minute” ..

That’s pretty poor water pressure then and explains in part why it took over 8 minutes to fill, or almost. I couldn’t see in that jerky video the point where it might have made it to the top as you then messed with the water full switch lever.
The heat exchanger outlet valve might also need checking. (That’s the one on the salt container to the right of the salt valve)

I agree that it is poor water pressure .. Actually when I changed to view the display in the video the water had made it to the top ..
I have made a new video here..

I will have to look to the heat exchanger outlet valve tomorrow.
Thank you for your help so far.

Your 2nd video no better. Didn’t see the critical point where the water reaches the top and should overflow into the tub. Instead you pointed the camera entirely on the pressure chamber. No BAFTA nomination from me I’m afraid.
Be that as it may, the water pressure is rubbish, clearly not on mains water but gravity fill supply I would say. Has the machine always operated on that poor pressure?
The problem seems to be that the outlet valve is not operating and needs replacing anyway.
Any more video and can I suggest you fix the camera for a full and static view of the whole water inlet matrix. 💡

Hi
I managed to found out what the problem was.. or at least what solved it .. I emptied as much as I could of the water tank (reservoir) on the left side .. Locked the 4 holes in the bottom and fillede 1.5 l of liquid agent to remove calcium – decalcify? (called Kalk væk” in danish) in the tank and waited until the day after.. assembled the water tank.. and immiately I could hear that it filled with water much faster than before and the pressure pressed the little white knob out and engaged the blue lever on the pressure chamber so the water could enter the machine.. 🙂
Thanks for your help.
