Siemens Dishwasher SN66T094GB/32

Hi we have a Siemens SN66T094GB/32 that has developed a number of faults over the last few months.

The first fault was that the internal blue lights stopped working, we just lived with that and only mention it in case its related to the following

The recently it stopped completely draining at the end of a wash cycle, it seemed to complete the wash OK but there was still water in the bottom, we have been draining this using by setting the machine to do a quick wash and then cancelling it as soon as its pumped out.

Next we started to have some problems with selecting the add hours button to delay the start of the wash (we normally set it to wash at about 0300 on cheap rate electricity)

Now the machine is not heating water at all, the cycle still works but in addition to not draining it isn’t heating water so greasy things are not cleaning properly.

I have done some searching here and elsewhere and I am wondering if these faults could all be related to the controller?

Has anyone seen a similar set of problems or have any suggestions as to what to do next?

I have pulled out the dishwasher and removed the front cover to look at the controller circuit as I have seen several reports of them having overheated relay contacts. Mine looks fine and I cant see any signs of a problem with the circuit board.

I was going to have a look at the heater but I cant find it ! most things seem pretty well hidden, on the left had side looking from the front of the machine there is something that I think may be a solenoid its white but which looks as though its been hot as it is stained brown.
