    Siemens integrated dishwasher
    SN66P050GB/01
    FD9503
Changed lots of heat pumps on these machines by just lifting out Pc module to gain access. Now this one is the first I’ve come across that has a fan and venting into the cabinet that blocks access to the heat pump. Even the Pc module was difficult to get out as the space is so tight. I hadn’t allocated myself enough time complete the job so have to go back but was wondering if the only way to access the heat pump is to lift off the cabinet like the old Siemens, Bosch etc?

    Any help please?

    Thanks

I can’t say that I have done this particular model but on most of the integrated dishwashers I wiggle the pump out through the front of the machine – its tight and a little fiddly but usually fits and can be done with out having to take the dishwasher out.

Unfortunately it’s a case of taking the tank off the machine to replace the heat pump as side access is extremely restricted.
Remember to factor this into the cost of heat pump next time.

Had a feeling this would be the case.
    Thanks for the info.

That’s impressive! I have never managed to wriggle it out from the front except for drain pump but not heat pump.
