Siemens Dryer — WT48Y800GB/05 = Water container getting jamned

I thought this was going to be the easiest job of the day…. NO it wasn’t

It took me a good while to release the water bottle and then find out the reasons why, turns out there’s a solinoid device under the housing that “whenever” it activates, forces a metal bar onto a lever on the left side of the water bottle, which then opens a flap underneath the water bottle……. BUT I’m assuming this metal bar/soliniod isn’t then releasing, causing the draw to get jamned by the metal bar!!!

I’m therefor assuming that the solinoid thing is the fault?
Connections don’t list it and the dryer is around 10yrs old, so maybe it isn’t possible to repair it?

Do you think my thoughts are correct OR might something else be the problem????
