SIEMENS E12-46 WITH F21 FAULT CODE HELP!!!

Hi, I’m an electrician with a 2 year old washing machine, supposed 5 year guarantee from Siemens, problem is my machine shows up error F21, when I tried to get a service call I was tols Siemens aren’t covering calls for this fault as it relates to the cold snap of weather we are experiencing, my local shop where I bought the appliance told me to fill the drum with hot not boiling water, no good, I presume there is a way to reset the fault codes on this machine, any ideas greatly appreciated

Firstly I dont know a specific cure but the Bosch machines are more less a lower cost version of the Siemens

Maybe one of the Bosch/Siemens engineers here will reply to your question to confirm the fault?

The above points to a control board fault as you will see -cold snap or otherwise I would be seeking a better explanation than the one received
from your service contact.

F21 is not due to cold weather . F21 is normally a motor fault or an electrical spike that has ‘confused’ the control PCB .

Your ENr ( model number ) should be on a sticker on the inside of the door or on the pump access cover and should start with a W .

Post up the full ENr and we can be a bit more specific .
