9 years no issue. Found that fridge is noticeably colder. Veg is freezing at back of fridge.

Behind the main vegetable drawer there is a white plastic coil I think it is the “tank 0526 / 00672953” on siemens website. Clear solid ice had formed around it. I managed to remove most of the ice, a couple of weeks later it has opaque powdery ice. I know this points to an air leak but seals seem fine and door has that slight resistance you feel when you open it.

    Any ideas please? Thanks

Is that part of the water chiller, because if so I’m wondering if it freezing is a symptom of the fridge being too cold rather than the cause. The cause is more likely to be a thermostat/controller issue.

I don’t know but it may well be, the water filter is up the top though. I do agree that the frezzing is probably a symptom not cause. I can’t see details of the thermostat in the siemens page – there is chamber control sensor but I am unclear where it is.
