I’ve had a Siemens fridge for about two years. Just lately, it has become increasingly difficult to open the door after closing it. There is a whistling noise and it seals completely tight and needs a pretty hard pull to open it up.
I’m sure it didn’t do this when it was new. I’ve read various things about negative pressure but I’m not sure where to look first.
Re: Siemens fridge – door very hard to open after closing
Hi
Easy fix option is to tape a match stick onto the face of the fridge freezer where the seal makes contact. Best place would be the right hand side. That will allow the pressure to equalise quicker and NO it wont allow excessive build up of ice.
