Im hoping anyone can help. i have a siemens fridge freezer kg49nh90gb/01. It has stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer is very slowly defrosting. as soon as i defrost the freezer for 12 hours the fridge and the freezer are good to go for another week then the same happens again. my mate reckons it would be either the heater of the thermal fuse does this sound feasable . i don’t mind changing cheap parts but anything more expensive i would rather pay the call out to siemens. funny how things go wrong 2 months after warranty. any advise would be appreciated

Please don’t copy and paste opening multiple threads, it doesn’t help, only confuses people and doesn’t get you answers any faster.

    Thanks

it was the thermo fuse . no continuity across the multi plug. expressed the part thru amazon off all place and fridge is up and running. bit of a pig to get the heater element back up.
