Participantprob with sensors i think, the unit shut down and would not restart compresor ok fires up now and again checked board out all ok, similar fault posted on here suspect sensor/stat, the alternative replacement what part no is it and do you get the wiring drawing with it and roughly the cost. I gather siemens supply an altenative to foamed in sensor. I have qualidfications as an instrument/electrical engineer and was a catering service engineet so ok to do job, thanks for any info.

I have the same symptoms you decribed in a Bosch E-NR KGV-3104-BG/04 F.D. 7809/04014
Please can you tell me how to make up much a device?
I guess it’s just a question of shorting two of the connectors on the 3 pin connector on that couples to the right-hand side of the control board. Just not sure which, and don’t fancy experimenting, but I’m keen to get the fridge back in action asap, rather than waiting 2 weeks for a Bosch engineer. Not to mention the cost!Cheers

Try posting your post code up here or using the ‘directories’ over on the left to contact an independent service engineer who will be cheaper and quicker than Bosch (allegedly 😉 )

Bosch Cooler fridge freezer fault KGV3104GB
I noticed that top draw of freezer compartment was not freezing and was starting to defrost. After turning off fridge at mains or switch on fridge it would restart compressor and would get back down to working temperature, once the temperature had been reached and compressor had stopped it would not start again.
This is because of the fault sensor built in to the body of the fridge
I sent for a kit to mod the Printed circuit board 491415 don’t bother
The two censors in the fridge wired back to the three pin connector to right hand side of the PCB one goes to pin 1&2 the other to 1&3 pin , There are two blues connected to pin 1 indirectly this is done with crimped joint behind the PCB and one black wire goes to pin 1 just cut the two wires that connect to pin 1 and two Before the crimp leaving the wires that go to 1&3 still connected. Then short out 1&2 the plug end
Now works ok ….
Hope this helps I will post the wiring Diagram on my web page as soon as I canJune 10, 2005 at 4:07 pm #118263admin
