You need to turn the appliance off for at least 24hrs with the door open or it will not defrost properly.
After 24hrs wipe up any water inside and turn back on, all should be well.

ParticipantTeddy,
Won’t be able help you much without the model reference or “E. no”. If you can take out the crisper bins you should find a rating plate, the numbers will be on that.Regards,

Teddy, can you let us know exactly what the problem is please.
You only indicate that the door was left open and you have tried to defrost it.
Is it building up with ice very quickly or just not getting cold anymore ?
Dave.

Teddy, as it appears that it has iced up several times since your first post in Oct. it sound like a problem with the defrost system, time for an engineer.
Locate your nearest engineer on the ‘directories file’ over on the left of this site Or click on the tool box on the home page of this site.Regards

Sounds like a blockage in the drain channel tube that leads to the motor evaporator tray.
clean this out, then turn off and leave to defrost.

Thanks Boro
Have taken plastic pipe off and it was full of gunge like stuff and then put a wire up the tube but it would not go up very far so i didnt force it,but it must have done something as i cleared the ice out and it has not reappeared.
Thanks
