siemens grill problem

I have a seimens hb131550b/01 oven when using the grill selection both parts of the grill element are on full even if i turn it down, there are three settings and wondered if there is there a problem with it

If the grill has three settings but all three settings produce the same output from the element it would suggest a fault yes.

Looking at the diagram, it’s a pretty complex appliance this one and I would recommend an engineer if there definitely is a fault (refer to handbook ?)
