Siemens HB15N550B03 (single oven)

This is my own oven, when the fan oven is set to a preset temperature say 200 degs
once it gets to temperature, I then turn on the other top oven when that heats up the fan oven temp drops and the display goes out, when i turn the top off, after a short time it goes back to normal, just yesterday though the fan oven running only, the temperature dropped by about 10 degs from 170 to 160 megs then returned to normal..?
The reason I am asking is I am not sure whats causing this fault…looking at the parts it could be the Potentioment / temperature sensor / PC board.. can anyone confirm what is causing this fault if possible.. please. John

any blown caps on the board as it sound like a power supply problem.

ie has enough power to turn on and run main over but runs out of it when you turn the top oven on as well

take it top oven on its own is ok too

Without fear of over thinking the possibilities at this stage, wouldn’t it be best to first check the state of the top oven element/s?

As is often the case, an earth leak can create all hell with the electronic controls.

Have you meggered the appliance John?

Thanks gents, will look into this, Dave I fitted a new module about a year ago but will check.
Martin, No I haven’t checked the top elements but will do next.
