ParticipantCustomer tells me there was a flash then oven stopped working properly, on checking the top oven floor element has a earth leak, this in turn has blown the tracking on the small Pcb mains power board (part No 00495386) I repaired the tracking but still have same problem.
On testing the top oven grill works ok.
when testing the Main oven the fan element heats up, but the fan doesn’t work there is no positive supply, I traced this back to the main (larger) Pcb (part No 00499014). which is fed from the smaller Pcb.
The problem is don’t know which board needs replacing ( there is no obvious damage on the large pcb) I suspect the smaller is the problem, but I need a siemens expert( if possible) to confirm which part is required, as these parts a bit pricey if I order wrong part.

the power supply is just to supply power to the pcb so a short in an element to earth is not going to affect this board unless the main board gets damaged too.
had a similar bosch board go faulty and if you looked carefully you could see a hole in one of the driver chips and that was all
you should be able to verify the voltages on the power board are okDave

Something to watch out for on these ovens if it is the model with the square oven lamp set in the roof of the main compartment. The lamp blowing can take out its relay that then takes out track near to it.
Is the relay on the back left as you look at the board from the front? It might be worth checking the bulb/lamp assembly just in case this is the cause of the ‘bang’ and following relay damage.June 12, 2016 at 8:48 am #438494rocker

Cheers for reply, but the lamp assembly is working ok, I am sure the element caused this problem on this occasion. John

have checked the board I have and the relays used are
HF152F 9 volt coil and
HF3FD 9 volt coilHF152F is a similar size but they seem to have slightly different pin positions to the shrack 3-1415356-1 / PBH34009
if you think you can alter the board to fit it your welcome to one. board has come out of a Neff oven unit so is used in a similar way (part no 658000)Dave
