Siemens HB48054GB/02 OVen flashes 150

I have been asked to look a t the above oven.

The customer says she sets the oven to 200 then after about 10 minutes the oven temp indicator changes to 150.
The customer resets the temperature and again after about 10 minutes it changes back to 150.

This doesn’t appear to relate to fault codes and the customer believes the coking fan continues to run when the oven is turned of as usual.

Any thoughts on what could cause this.

It sounds like it’s resetting to the default temp? IIRC , these are the electronic controlled ovens with a PTC as opposed to a mechanical stat so I’d be looking at either the switch selector or control/relay module.

Thanks NomadPaul, is there a way of testing either of these components other than replacing?

This oven also has a control module, would you rule that out or could this also be a possibility?
