    Hi
The above oven trips the rcd as soon as the pcb relays engage but not on the light bulb setting.
All components have no earth faults but things like the grill wiring and some microswitches are a dead short.
I have traced this to the small power Pcb that has an earth wire connected. I can remember a similar issue I had years ago and replacing this board didn’t cure the problem
    Has anyone got any ideas

    Regards
    Dave

    ignore microswitches

ok assume the oven is turned off by a doubler pole switch. if not you will get odd readings on your meter

if you connect the meter with one lead on earth on a high ohm scale do you get any readings?

I am sure I have had this before on a Bosch oven and a Siemens oven and it was the control board that was faulty (the ones with the relays).

    Thanks Guys
Luckily I was able to pull the plug out of the back so no neutral was connected.
Readings from the grill element wiring was almost a dead short and like I said all of the components checked out fine.
PCB will be fitted at the end of the week so I’ll update.

    Thanks
