    Have to go to this on Thursday. Customer says if hob is turned on as well as this combi oven the oven shows E17!! 😯 . Oven is mounted below hob and was installed 2005. Thanks in advance.

    E17 is an EEPROM fault – relay board defective – replace relay board.

    No idea why it would do it when hob switched on ??? Maybe try the oven out of its housing and away from the hob to see if its still affected ?

    Thanks Paul,
    This oven had E16 showing in September, I switched it off and on and fault cleared. Think this may have been early signs of board failure. Will keep you posted.

    Called today, hob thing a red herring. The oven goes to E17 even when not in use. Have quoted for new relay board,customer thinking as BSH don’t have one in stock. Thanks for your help Paul.
