Good afternoon,
Could someone advise on a mysterious problem on the above built in double oven?
I removed the control switch panel situated above the top oven in order to inspect the rotary switches.
The film strips are damaged on two controls, thus not indicating the oven distribution and temperature display.
Having ascertained this, I refitted the panel, and switched the power back on.
However, the small cooling fan and air vents are now operating continually.
I removed the panel again, to see if there could be anything I had done to cause the above… nothing evident.
Have I inadvertently disturbed a temperature sensor or similar, and would appreciate any clarification.
