“During the wash the door is cold to the touch, at the end of the wash cycle, the plates are not properly clean, all still soaking wet, all cold and no steam at all so i am guessing there is no hot water being produced during the wash. The display also won’t clear itself at the end of the cycle, it still shows 1 min to go even thou its finished.”As instructed i have cleaned the all the pipes and removed all build ups of gunk, checked the PCB in the control panel for dry joints and all looks ok, tried a wash again and still no hot water so i my guess is its the water heating element that’s gone. Trouble is I don’t know what it looks like or where in the machine to find it to check it with a multi meter.
I have attached a couple of photos of the machine in bits, and would be extremely grateful if someone could point me in the right direction and then tell me which 2 wires I need to put the meter across.
Do I want to test its resistance? If so what should it be or do I just test for a complete circuit, with a break in it indicating a broken element?
A previous post I have read details how to remove the element once you know its broken so that bit should be ok.
Any ideas how much a replacement should cost and the best place to get one.Model number (not sure which one it is on the name plate so best give you all of them)

ParticipantThe heater is at the bottom on the right hand side . Approx resistance of 23 – 28 ohms should be read.

Help still required to correctly locate the water heater, wife is well and truly sick of doing the pots by hand, so i really need to sort this out soon, or i will be sleeping in the spare room .
I have take some more close up photos with some numbers and letters on to try and help with the identification. Which numbers is the water heater, and which wires to i need to put the test meter across. If the correct wires are not shown colors and location would be fine.

Once located and tested, i hope to find it faulty, as i don’t know what else it can be, checked and cleaned everything else. So i will hopefully need a new one, can anyone suggest a good place to get one mail order??Thanks again
Phil
