Our Siemens IQ 300, WM12P360GB is about 6.5 years old and has been a bit of a work horse ( 2 cycles a day ). It has developed a noisy spin and there is a bit of play on the drum. I assume the bearings have gone. My query’s are, what would be cost of replacing the bearings and would it be worth it considering the work it has done.
The bearing kit (part no: 00619808) cost around £50, comes complete with bearings, shaft seal, tub gasket and fixing screws. Major strip-down involving removing the tub, splitting the two halves, removing the drum, knocking out the old bearings and seal. And then reassembling. 2 hours work end to end for an expert.
