The dryer continually cuts out after being on for only a couple of minutes. The light stating Filter/Hose comes on. The filter does not appear to be clogged, but we clear it anyway, start the dryer again and within 2 minutes the dryer stops again and the Filter/Hose light comes on again. We restart the dryer and it runs again for a couple of minutes and then stops again. This goes on continuously. It has been doing this for some time. There appears to be nothing wrong with the filter. I have also checked the hose and the external vent and there appears to be nothing wrong with this either.

There should be a good strong airflow coming out of the vent hose, if not there’s a blockage somewhere or the hose is kinked or it’s far too long. If all of that checks out OK then the Sensor (part no 00600157) will probably need replacing. And for that, unless you have good practical experience including the use of a soldering iron it may be better calling in a local repair person.

Many thanks for the advice. It turns out that the wire mesh screen on the exhaust vent was clogged with lint. I cleared that and the dryer worked just fine. Thanks again for the advice.
