    Hello All,
the SN number for my machine is SN26M891GB/01.
Recently the machine has developed a fault that I’m struggling to track down.
Symptoms are as follows: machine runs for part (sometimes nearly all) of the cycle and then stops. No error codes are displayed but the tap symbol is lit.
    I have:
    1) Cleaned the filters in the Aquastop
    2) checked for water in the lower part of the machine – all dry
    3) cleaned the main filter
    4) removed the pump inspection little plastic thing in the drain well and checked that the pump impeller rotates freely – it does.

The machine has been working absolutely fine until this fault and I’m now struggling to find out what’s causing it.
There are no leaks visible internally or externally, sometimes the machine runs just fine.
I’m wondering if this could be related to the pump but normally even when this fault occurs there is no water left inside – you can also hear the pump running.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Thanks in advance for any help.
    Cheers

this all depends when the machine aborts the programme

if machine start to fill then aborts and pumps out then it a good possibility its

    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/611317- … flow-meter

this switch on the left hand side in the plastic housing count the water into the machine. if machine detects its no counting properly it aborts and pumps out. tap symbol light up because no water can also be tap turned off

I would find unit and unplug it and plug in again 2 or 3 times to see if its a bad contact first

cant promise I am right but this would be my first try

also to give you more insight into the way the machine works. when it pumps out the control unit monitors the pump electrical load. it knows when the machine is empty the load is lower. but as the pump wears it will still work but draws more current that makes the control unit think it full when its not

    hope it helps

    Dave

I’ve found the fault – the extra take-off tap supplying the machine is only drippling water out – it’s blocked so the machine is definitely not getting 10l a minute.
I’m now trying to fix that

So, tap removed – found it full of crud, cleaned up, re-fitted and checked, plenty of water now and the machine seems happy.
