Further to Previous post regarding a water leak from the freezer door on this unit. I have now narrowed down the leak to the plastic water feed pipe that feeds the water dispenser. It has split where the pipe enters the freezer through the lower door hinge. I have been in touch with Siemens and they tell me that I will have to replace the whole door at nearly £400 plus the call out fees. I asked if they could put me in touch with an service engineer to see if the pipe can be replaced but they refused and I have had no reply at all to my earlier enquirery on this forum. I am absolutely stunned that this is the recommended repair by Siemens as the pipe I’m sure would be around seven or eight pounds if available. I need help here please.
