siemens microwave E1006 error

Siemens microwave BE634LGS1B/03 , I normally don’t touch them but the day after I fixed their main
oven customer complains about the microwave coming up E1006, i checked all the connections and it seems ok.
it works on the grill function but on microwave it runs for about 5 seconds then switches itself off or shows E1006.
I saw a post on here about a neff oven with same fault and was wondering if anyones managed to repair this fault
and obviously what neeeded done any advice welcomed.

Magnetron failure that error code is probably been using full power to re heat food

thats great thanks very much, its certainly cheaper than a circuit board definitely worth a try

as for the mag you can use Gen or contact

I decided to go with a genuine one from connect so i could send it back if it didnt work.
fitted new magnetron and it worked ok, thanks for all the help.
