FD 8703.this is a single cavity dual fuel range, 90cm wide, with 5 gas burners and electric oven.
firstly, the circo element has open circuited. I could not work out how to remove the element, 600676, as I could not remove the back plate which is fixed in front of the fan and element. I could only see two self tappers holding it but it would not move. I tried removing the rear cover and was able to confirm the faulty element was needed. surely its not removed from the back?
secondly the customer stated that the hinges were replaced under warranty 14 months ago. a similar fault has occurred. It seems to be very noisy as you open and close the door and does not open to the full 90 degree position.Is it a pair of hinges that are required, or could it be the inserts.
any help appreciated.
