ParticipantMy Siemens SB66T091GB started showing a E25 error code and not fully emptying.
After checking for debris etc with no improvement, I replaced the drain pump. Running a rinse cycle it stops at the end with 1-2cm of water above the mesh filter in the base. Restarting the programme, I can hear the pump emptying some of the water before it decides to stop. No obvious blockages or kinks in the drain hose.It sounds similar to the problem in this recent thread – only even the rinse programme doesn’t complete fully.

I saw elsewhere that not fully replacing the little pump cover might be a the cause (and indeed I hadn’t snapped it in properly). But that didn’t solve it.

ParticipantPossible blockage in the hidden pump out non return valve: see Siemens website/spares drawing number 0431 part number 00611320 £16.95.
Pain in the arse to get at but then its a Bosch/Siemens!!June 19, 2021 at 3:51 pm #477292pabenny
ParticipantThanks. Not obvious the valve is even there. From a quick look, seems like you have to remove the sump to get access. Here goes…

ParticipantDon`t do that! I`ll probably leak badly on re-assembly though if you have by now gone ahead and disassembled your advised to seal with a decent glue. It is easier to bend the semi transparent sump hose retaining upright 2 lugs in order to pull out the hose from the sump`s hose`s nozzle and attack it from there on as a first thing attempt. Hopefully it will be this non return valve that is semi blocked.

ParticipantAll based on SN66T091GB/01. “SB66T091GB” does not exist or rather is not listed in UK.

ParticipantYou’re right, of course, about the model number. Just being lazy.
Thanks for the advice about accessing the non-return valve. I hadn’t got as far as removing the sump and in fact removing the sump hose was surprisingly easy. Poking around with a finger and peering with a torch didn’t show any no sign of blockage or debris. I know it drains some water before stopping, so if there is a blockage in the hose, it’s only partial. And there’s no sign of a blockage in the external part of the hose.
