The machine always now gets stuck with 1 minute left on the display timer. Water definitely runs in and out but the motor keeps whirring and the 1 min displayed never ends. Very occasionally it will complete a cycle and when it does it steps thru the wash/dry/end display lights then beeps to show its done.

Grateful for any knowledge as to whats happening and any fixes?

    Regards

    hi

I have seen this fault with a jammed circulation motor.
Drain pump works fine but there is not much circulation?

Remove the RHS of the machine and check the main motor is turning.
It will be a blur if the motor is running OK
If not PLEASE turn the power off and then you can move the motor vanes with your finger or suitable screwdriver etc

I have posted pics of the motor in my recent thread just below yours….

    regards

Many thanks for your help, had the machine in bits not really knowing what doing but followed advice- yes did switch off from mains. We had the water reservoir from the LHS of the machine completely off and noticed some reddish coloured deposits inside one of the pipes inside the plastic resevoir. We used drain cleaner to shift it and the refitted. Appeared to work a treat – that said we are only on our first cycle since refitting but machine making very encouraging noises so sounds like we may have cracked it.

    Thanks again

Hi. I read the details of your post about the Siemens dishwasher. I have the same problem now. Did your clean-out of the red-stained water control labyrinth work?
