Siemens SE35M563SK no enough water

Hello, I have Siemens SE35M563SK, quite old model.

I’ve noticed recently that after running the cycle, machine get stuck like spinning the same step. Dishes looked not clean, and temperature after opening the door didn’t seam that high. Figured out that machine tried to re-circulate water but like there was not enough.
After I tried to change the program, set to the longest and hottest, machine worked fine.

I was suspecting that PCB is wrong. I manage to take it out, check the soldering point, even re-solder some of the relays. After putting it back, machine worked fine for couple of months.
Few days ago, same symptoms. Machine is working, but sometimes it get stuck 1min before finish, and when opened it looks like no enough water or something. Again took the PCB out, re-solder relays one more time, but still the same symptoms.
I found that top arm is not sniping at all and then I started suspecting that there is no enough water pressure. Tried to run the program one more time, and once I heard that machine got “stuck” I’ve opened the door and added 2-3 cups of water. Machine then continued working and I could clearly hear that both arms were in a full swing and washing was just fine. Also temperature was as it should be.

Therefore, I suspect there is something wrong with the water level set point after water gets pumped out when 1st cycle is finished. Before entering to a second cycle, it hangs and symptoms above shows.

Does anyone has any idea? I’ve read that it could be inlet valve or regeneration valve? Does anyone know the spare part number? Hot to replace this part?

on the left hand side of the unit is pressure chamber (item 410) and a pipe running into the sump (0415)
these block up over time and need cleaning

Dave, thanks for the prompt feedback! This looks familiar, based on the attached pictures.
Is there anyway you can share that manual with me as I would like to learn more about the whole assembly. This looks somehow complicated to disassemble to clean up.

cant get manual with siemans. parts breakdowns are on the siemans home website

but it does not look that bad

try running with the side off and see what happens

if its blocked the red float will lift

So, I tried that…
First, machine spins like emptying the current water. After that, it starts filling in the reservoir. When water reach the top level, then it overflowed into the small chamber and blue hinge moves. I didn’t took enough attention on the red float. I’ll take a closer look again tomorrow.
After that water level from the reservoir sinks down looks like it get stuck there, and after I manually add some water machine starts the full cycle with spinning both arms, bottom and top. Temperature goes up, all ok. After a while, looks like first cycle is over, and machine tries to empty water. On the next cycle of filling in the water, scenario above repeats. Once second cycle is over, machine finish the program and the tank remained full of water.

On below video is the level of water in the tank after I added some water manually. Before that, level was slightly lower.

when that blue bar moves it operates a switch to let the computer know its got to level 1.

check that switch is operating correctly. if it is check the wiring back to the timer. look closely at the wires at the bottom of the door where they can break

also check the 2 valve coils to the left of the chamber

Dave, may I ask you to go through some of the videos I made today. There is something I don’t understand as I’m not a subject matter expert.
I’ve recorded videos with the whole process, almost the whole 40min program, where you can see different steps and how the valves reacts.

can you see something that doesn’t look normal? I haven’t been able to check the coils as my multimeter didn’t work. I’ll have to get a new one first.

that float should not lift and fall. the pipe is blocked to the sump

Thank you Dave. Do you have any tips or recommendation what to do next? I believe this could be cleaned? If yes, what are the steps to disassemble this? Is there any service manual that could help me to do step by step?

Maybe you can describe what/how to do this service?

really simple
remove cover under the door
pull out pipe ( its just pushed in with “O” rings )
clean it and put it back also chech where pipe goes into sump is clear

should take 20 mins tops and no need to touch anything on the side

closest pic i could find is below. its slightly different as its an American unit and has the inlet valve at the front, yours will not have this. you can see the feed pipe (item 2) which plugs into the sump
