ParticipantFirst of all, I’d love to post the model number, but there’s no id plate I can find on the machine (the book says it’s on the door; if it’s so I’m blind). There’s a sticker next to the mains cable inlet labelled “5600041012/02/346/23-10” and another sticker on the back: “53 190”, the back of the manual reads “5 600 047 275 en (8205) 450l”. It’s stainless steel slimline with the controls and display in the top edge of the door.
Anyhow, it’s stopped draining, without reporting any diagnostics on its display. Our guess is that the cause is a failed pump, but a guess is all that is; is there anything we can do to help narrow down the cause before buying a set of torx drivers and delving inside? Filters are clean, and the drain is clear. At least the aquastop works 😉
Many thanks for any help or suggestions.

ParticipantYou might find the number ‘etched’ into the top edge of the door – Soemtimes you have to look at it from different angles to actually see it. The ENR number would definitely help us.

Aha! Thanks for that; faded almost to unreadability, but it’s there. The box is a SF25A061CB/15, FD 8302.

Very close its a SF25A061GB/15
Torx Im afraid, take pump off and look for debris. The pumps are pretty robust IMHO.Power off if you are to investigate further :plug:

Thanks!
What’s the best route into the pump? I’ve removed all the plastic panelling/ducting inside the machine (and uncovered quantities of vile crud underneath), but there’s no obvious way to get into the drain/pump assembly from that direction. I have discovered that taking the door off is a bad idea, and blessed the inventor of the mole grip with great blessings for making it possible to lock the hinges down and thus get the bloody thing back on again…

Remove plug, door outer panel, kick plate and lower cover plate. Drain pump is a twist-fit on the left underneath. It’s really, really awkward…..

After a short pause while I’ve been enjoying either a particularly nasty bout of manflu or mild coughing pig death syndrome (take your pick), I’ve decided that my hardware skills arent’t going to extend to manoeuvring a pump off, and out, and back through that gap and maze of pipes and cables.
Many thanks for your help anyhow; you’re collectively providing a hugely valuable service here.
