    Hi Eddie
Im afraid that we are unable to release information like that to the public.
What problem are you having with the oven and we will try to help.
We will of course need the full model or enr number usually found around the oven cavity opening.

Re: Siemens single built in Oven HB 0315

    Hi Greg
Many thanks for prompt reply. Type deignation is HB 0315 54 and serial number is 6603. This info is off the plate on the rear of the oven. There is no gnr around the opening. This oven is 20 years old! The problem is that the oven indicator lights but the thermostat light does not and of course the oven is not on. It is also not possible to put the grill on. Before I start to make assumptions I wish to make a continuity check of the actual circuitry, yes with the power off! Where in North Wales? I’m in Shropshire, not far from Wrexham. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi eddie
I cannot find that appliance probably due to age.
From what you have given me I would look at thermostat.
Guessing now ok, I would imagine it is piggy backed onto selector switch.
with it turned on to any degrees setting you should have continuity between common and feed to element. Where you are, I would imagine you nearest BSH engineer is Sigma in Chester.

    Greg
I took your advice and it appears that the thermostat is the problem. I now need to find a replacement if that is possible after this time. I am trying to get hold of Sigma at Chester on the phone, it appears they do not open before 9. Many thanks for your help.
