When the normal wash cycle ended on a small load the prewash light began flashing.
We turned it off, opened the door and found the clothes were soaking wet.
Put on to rinse and spin. When the dial indicated the cycle had ended we found the clothes were still soaking.
Put back to wash, stuck there for ages, then tried to rinse and spin again. The dial moved but clothes were still soaking.
By this time we could clearly smell burning rubber so stopped.
As best as we can tell, the drum turned normally during the wash etc but never went into a spin. Any ideas whats wrong and whether It’s a DIY job or not?
