    Good evening all,

Called to the above dishwasher by a customer complaining of poor wash results.

Tested and monitored operation, and neither spray arm rotating during a wash cycle.

Water supply/fill is good, and the heat pump appears to be healthy. (sounds fine & heats water)

The spray arms are not blocked, and their supply appears to be alright.

I’m wondering if the water distributor/diverter unit can cause such a fault, as the one’s I’ve replaced for faults have generally failed to distribute water to one spray arm or the other? ( time for further testing became limited, as I needed to remove the appliance to locate the E-Nr, which is not in the usual area!)

have a look to see if there is an obstruction on the input to the wash pump

Another thing to check is the pump impellor. I’ve had a couple of these were the front of the impellor comes away from the back so when the pump runs it doesn’t pump the water. It’s not easy to see from the pump inlet. I’ve only found it because I thought there was a blockage inside the pump and when I’ve opened it the impeller has fallen apart.
If it is this, it’s a new heat pump.
