Participanthi there
I have a customer with a siemens SN66T095GB/93. its 1.5 years old.
The integrated door is getting damaged ( from steam I think?) and also the adjacent door is bubbling. It is a high quality lacquer door. The damage is halfway up the door on the right side of the dishwasher and on the left side of the adjacent cabinet in the same spot. Many thanks

Customer has not called Siemens as she thinks the doors are faulty.
I was wondering if anyone has experience of this happening?January 21, 2016 at 4:08 pm #434671Martin

I was wondering if anyone has experience of this happening? It’s not a Siemens known fault but rather an issue with the installation ( i e. Door not aligned properly, uneven floor, not levelled correctly)
You refer to this person as “customer?” Do I take it you’re in the trade? Have you installed this machine?

Much as it pains me to agree with Martin, he is correct. Those are the most common and obvious reasons for that to happen on any integrated dishwasher.

Thanks for your help 🙂
We supplied & installed the kitchen and the integrated door. Customer supplied the dishwasher. The plumber plumbed the dishwasher afterwards when the stone was fitted. There was a big plumbing issue on the job with the waster disposal and the plumbers pulled everything out to fix it. That’s the backround.
Okay ..silly question maybe, but if the dishwasher isn’t level/ doors not aligned how could this effect the leak of water from the side, up 2/3 of the door?January 22, 2016 at 10:32 am #434674kwatt

It’s caused by steam escape on the dry phase.

I’ve looked further into this and it seems they have issued a modification notice pertaining to condensation problems. It comes as a .pdf file ( not sure if I can download this on this website?) The OP isn’t a registered trade member either (another possible issue here?)

Fair enough. Meanwhile on the BSH site look up part no :00263096 and read the attached service notice. (That is the .pdf I refer to)

Thanks Martin,
I’ve been trying to find the download you refer to for hours now, do you have a link to the site that this info is on? It doesn’t show up on any searches either. thanks again, deeJanuary 23, 2016 at 8:39 am #434679Martin

It’s only available on the BSH partner website (trade website). If you have an account with BSH you should have access.

It may be that as the OP is a kitchen supplier he has a BSH Tradeplace account for appliances only. He would need to apply to BSH for a spares account to access the trade spares info.Charliedee if you PM me your email address I’ll mail you the document Martin refers to. If you need to order the part Dave in the UKW shop will be able to supply you. Email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
